A remarkable seven-bedroom villa, located on the idyllic shores of Old Fort Bay, Villa Hart Cove is an expansive property like none other. Built next to a beautiful white sand beach, this villa offers guests a plethora of incredible views as well as a wide variety of activities to keep you occupied. As you arrive, you are greeted with a jaw-dropping exterior, complete with a junior Olympic-sized pool and two sun shelves that contain loungers close to the main pool. When you first enter this property, you will be guided through the immersive hallway. This area offers just a taste of the property’s overall design, showing off the exotic wood panelling and a truly unique light fixture made entirely from old magazines.
Villa Hart Cove gives guests an assortment of places to relax and unwind, allowing them to feel truly at peace whilst on holiday. The combined living and dining area hosts an eclectic mix of seating arrangements, which in turn, gives guests the chance to enjoy meals and conversations with loved ones after a long day in the Caribbean sun. This spacious property is designed to make guests feel at home, seen by its simple design features such as coral stone and natural cement flooring. As a result, this helps to keep the property airy and cool.
During your stay, you will have the pleasure of meeting Villa Hart Cove’s experienced staff. The compassionate team includes a chef, assistant chef, butler, multiple housekeepers, a laundress, gardener, and a pool and beach supervisor.
The lower level of this property is home to bedrooms 1,2,3, and 7. The first three bedrooms all contain a luxurious and pristine king-sized bed, perfect for catching up on much-needed rest and relaxation. These bedrooms are also home to glorious en-suite bathrooms, fitted with a walk-in shower and deep bathtub, giving guests the best of both worlds. Finally, these rooms allow access to the luscious patio area, helping guests gain magnificent views of the sunrise each morning. Bedroom 7 hosts 2 queen-sized beds, which makes this room perfect for children.
Going upstairs, there are another three bedrooms. Additionally, these rooms also have king-sized beds and allow guests to access the patio. Moreover, all of the bedrooms at Villa Hart Cove contain an interactive smart TV, helping guests wind down and catch up on some light entertainment.
This property is very special and has the ability to make guests feel at home, whilst still offering a copious amount of luxury and style. Villa Hart Cove was first purchased in the 1950s and has been passed down through four generations. In 2015, the current owner refurbished the property, maintaining its contemporary roots, whilst applying a few modern touches.
What you should know…
- The owner does not allow the villa to be used for weddings, hospitality events or outside guests
- Please note that you will need to select 14 guests should you wish to have access to all 7 bedrooms. Those selecting fewer guests will only have access to a prorated number of bedrooms based on 2 guests per room.
- One of the ground floor bedrooms is more suited to children as it has a smaller walk-in shower and is adjacent to a larger bedroom.

Guests are just a 90-minute drive away from Montego Bay Sangster International Airport, making travelling to and from the property an easy feat. If you are looking to delve deep into the beautiful nature of Jamaica’s scenery, attractions such as Dunn’s River Falls. Perhaps you are seeking a little more adventure? Mystic Mountain is close by, allowing guests to experience a high dose of adrenaline as they conquer a zip line that travels down from 700ft.
The surrounding town of Ocho Rios is a real spectacle for travellers. This area is filled with awe-inspiring nature reserves and a collection of shopping districts. The locals even offer detailed food tours that allow guests to dive deep into the history of Jamaica through its rich and heavenly food options. The tour begins at the port of Ocho Rios and follows along the coastline ridge of the Caribbean Sea, which is just an hour and a half away from Villa Hart Cove. Not to mention, this tour also allows you to visit the famous Ocho Rios Jerk Centre to enjoy a spot of lunch after your jam-packed journey.
With guidance from the staff at Villa Hart Cove, guests are encouraged to book a number of excursions. These include exciting watersports such as sailing, fishing, and kayaking. Therefore, guests have the opportunity to burst out of their comfort zone, whilst also revelling in luxury and comfort. As this property is located so close to the beach, guests have the once-in-a-lifetime chance to go surfing on waves that can reach an incredible 30ft. For those who enjoy implementing a lot of sport into their holiday, Villa Hart Cove offers an abundance of activities to choose from. You can play a game of tennis on the Har-Tru green clay tennis court, the only one of its kind on Jamaica’s north coast. Guests are also encouraged to make use of the villa’s private gym. This fully-equipped fitness suite comes with a SOLE stationary bike, PRO-FORMA treadmill, and a collection of weights. After that, you can indulge in an expert massage in the suite directly next to the private gym.

Getting There
Jamaica has two international airports, Donald Sangster in Montego Bay and Norman Manley, Kingston.
From the US:
There are many direct flights with Jet Blue, Caribbean, Delta, American and United from cities including New York, Chicago, Miami, Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Houston and Philadelphia.
From the UK:
There are direct flights to Montego Bay from Gatwick and Manchester with American Airlines, British Airways or Virgin Atlantic. Glasgow and Belfast passengers can also fly via the US with United Airlines.

Best Suited For: All AgesVilla Hart Cove allows children of all ages to roam free, giving them a wealth of unique opportunities to choose from. The property’s main pool contains a shallow area, designed especially for children to splash around in, ensuring that they are safe and well during their stay. Adding on to this, if you are looking to go kayaking, the staff can offer smaller life jackets that are suitable for children.
In terms of sleeping arrangements, guests can combine bedrooms 1,2, and 7 to create a spacious family-sized suite. This is perfect for making sure that children are comfortable and feel safe enough to sleep throughout the night. If your family uses a Nanny for childcare purposes, Villa Hart Cove allows them to sleep in the same room as your children. Again, this helps the villa feel like a haven and offers children the same level of peace and tranquility they would experience back home.
Villa Hart Cove is also perfect for teenagers as the property contains widespread internet access. This allows them to remain connected and entertained on a variety of devices. Moreover, this property also has a 1/4 size basketball court as well as a 5-hole putting green. This gives children the chance to expel any excess energy and maintain an active lifestyle while on holiday. This property also contains a charming lawn area that offers enough space for children to play games freely. Villa Staff at this property:
A full-time dedicated chef, assistant cook, butler, housekeepers, gardener, personal laundress, pool and beach man attend exclusively to your villa.
Your cook will handle grocery shopping and meal preparation. They will pre-purchase your first few meals plus pantry staples, then finish the week's shopping after meeting with you. At week's end, they will present receipts for all food and beverage and reconcile your account. A typical grocery budget is $65-$75 per adult per day and $20-25 per day for preteens. This may vary up or down depending on market prices and menus.(more luxurious items such as shrimp, lobster, imported meats and Champagne will incur a further charge).
Your cook will also pre-purchase a small starter bar (a few bottles of Red Stripe, moderately-priced wine and rum). Additional alcohol requests will increase your budget. If you wish to go to the various markets with them, you are welcome. Otherwise, simply review your tastes and distastes with them and they'll handle it all while you stay at the villa and relax.
A nanny can be arranged for an average of $12 per hour. Guests should plan to add approximately $20 per day for food for their nanny.

Please note that all extras are subject to availability and must be requested in advance of the holiday (prices on request). Due to some rural/remote locations, not all services will be available at all properties. However, we will always do our best to fulfil your requests!

Villa Conditions

- A obligatory Gratuity rate of 15% of the overall booking is due to be paid to the Staff before departure. Please plan to pay in Cash (US Dollars or the local currency).
