Experience the height of luxury on the glistening Bajan coastline. Located in a secure gated community just a stone’s throw from the beach, golf courses and nearby shopping and dining, this elegant and fully-staffed holiday home oozes sophistication. No expense has been spared in ensuring your holiday is the ultimate in comfort and relaxation. The welcoming and friendly staff will be on hand to cater to your every whim, you will want for nothing for the duration of your stay. Except, maybe another cocktail?

The brilliant white of the villa’s façade contrasts beautifully with the vibrant lawns and surrounding gardens, and the sparkling turquoise sea beyond. Outside you’ll find al fresco dining to seat ten guests, under a gazebo should you prefer to dine in the shade, tucking into delicious fare prepared on the barbecue by the villa’s own chef. The manicured lawn is perfect for the little ones to run around and play, and you’ll be able to keep a safe eye on them from the sun loungers at the foot of the palm trees.

The elegant pool area could have been snatched from the glossy pages of a magazine. Built in the centre of the villa – a courtyard if you will - you can opt to swim in the open air or in the shade, courtesy of a fully retractable canopy. The poolside is lined with sun loungers and indulgent outdoor seating, with candles, plants, pebbles and soft lighting helping to curate an irresistible ambiance.

From the pool, move through to the first communal living space, furnished with formal sofas perfect for drinks before dinner and one of two indoor dining areas. The restorative greens of the plants dotted around the house work beautifully alongside a palette of calming natural tones; whitewashed walls, delectably high ceilings and pale marble flooring making for a serene mood throughout the air-conditioned villa. A second dining room benefits from a glamorous round table, the ideal spot for animated meals together should the weather turn a little cooler. The kitchen is top of the range, decked out in glossy monochrome and fully equipped with everything from a breakfast bar for the kids, a wine fridge and espresso machine for the grownups, and an ice maker – for everyone feeling sun-kissed.

Five en-suite bedrooms offer accommodation akin to sleeping on a cloud for ten inevitably well-rested guests. There are two master bedrooms. The first benefits from soft golden accents and a sofa overlooking the balcony, a standalone bath, his and hers sinks and a huge waterfall shower. In the second master pastel blues replace the golden hues, here the shower built into the sumptuous bathtub. The third king size bedroom is furnished with a dressing table in the corner and huge double doors that open out onto the lawn. The next bedroom is queen size, a cosy room with metallic accents and bright white walls. Finally, there’s a twin room, perfect for the kids with delicate olive drapes on the wall and botanical prints that brighten the space.

Finally, there are two further communal spaces upstairs for entertaining. There’s the media room, the perfect spot to curl up with a good book, enjoy your favourite record on the Sonos sound system, catch a late-night film, or maybe get stuck into a fiery board game. Finally, there’s the cocktail lounge. Arguably - though it’s hard to choose - this could be Windfall’s piece de resistance, so eye-wateringly stunning is the vista of the Caribbean sunset.

Barbados is an extraordinary holiday destination for a family, group of friends and couples.

Being situated along the West Coast, you are certainly privileged to be within a quick drive of many of the island’s best beaches. These beaches are better suited for leisure activities, as they are shielded from Atlantic Ocean's swells. For this reason, you will see lots of holiday makers and locals sunning themselves on the velvet sands and taking to the water for reinvigoration.

The Colony Club Beach, known as Heron Bay Beach to the locals, is the closest beach to Windfall. These waters have an excellent display of marine life and coastal birds, so make sure to rent some snorkelling gear and take a water-based adventure during the day. There are several businesses that will allow guests to make the most of this striking seaside expanse and enable guests to rent equipment or of pay for day-trips.

Being close to Sugar Hill Estate and Apes Hill Polo Club, you and your guests will have an array of additional services to use. We recommend witnessing the famous Luxury Golf Course first hand. This 72 par, 7,060 yard, course has remarkably well-kept fairways and is surrounded by indigenous florae that you won’t have seen before. Golf enthusiasts won't want to leave...hopefully this won't drive a wedge between loved ones!

Holetown is the closest Town to Windfall and has everything you and your guests require for an unforgettable holiday. Holetown certainly has fine dining down to a tee! If you are keen for a Caribbean, Asian or even a European menu; you’ll find it here. During the evening, Holetown lights up and becomes a mini-hub for budding socialites. First & Second Streets are where you will be able to find some quirky bars that embrace the spirit(s) of the Caribbean. There are plenty of places which prepare a good Bajan Rum Punch, but instead enquire about a Zombie. Be warned, this is a drink for those with a strong palette…and stronger liver!

About the Island & Getting There

About Barbados

At first glance you could be mistaken for thinking that Barbados is purely a beach holiday destination, but you're urged to reconsider this common belief. The island of Barbados is peppered with astonishing landscapes (both coastal and inland), enchanting locals, sublime cuisine, intriguing rums, fascinating wildlife, symbolic architecture and a selection of striking holiday villas.

Delve deep into the history of the island and start your holiday by visiting Sunbury Plantation House & Museum. This former plantation was built in 1660's and the premises are scattered with antiquities that delicately detail a recent history of Barbados. St. Nicholas Abbey also provides an insightful representation of Sugarcane production, Bajan artefacts and a wonderful observation point at Cherry Tree Hill. If you’re keen to visit one of the oldest Parliamentary buildings within the Commonwealth and appreciate the democratic legacy of Barbados, drop by The Parliament Buildings. This neo-gothic congress can be found in Bridgetown and act as a representation of Barbados’s Independence. There is so much history present throughout the island and as a result, Bridgetown and its Garrison has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage site, which the locals are very proud of.

Great efforts have been made to persevere the natural beauty of Barbados, so if you’re drawn to the exploration of National Parks and multicoloured gardens, it won’t take you long to realise that Barbados is a haven for such paradises! Within the Andromeda Botanic Gardens, Farley Hill National Park, Flower Forest, Hunte's Gardens and Welchman Hall Gully - visitors, and Botanist alike, will be lost for hours admiring these astonishing botanical parklands. Keep an eye out for the Dwarf Poinciana, or Peacock Flower…it’s the national flower of Barbados.

Bajan’s take their food very seriously! If you and your fellow travellers are enticed by the gastronomic aspect of holidaying, we believe you’ve selected the right island. With every aspect of cookery mastered; from pickling to freshly prepared dishes, sweet & savoury, fragrant & spicy and of course, the bountiful choice of seafood. Check out the food stalls in Paynes Bay Church – where vendors exhibit locally made dishes & street food that will scintillate the taste buds. At the end of every working week, locals and tourists both flock to Oistins, for 'Fish Fry Day'. This is a must for those who haven’t undergone the experience! The evening starts with barbecues and then ascends into a joyful party. This caps off a busy few days of work for locals as well as the 'strains' associated with serious holidaying.

Barbados is of course iconic for its Beaches & Rum…so why not bring them together? You will have to go out of your way not to be able to find a beach bar along the west coast of the island, as well as the countless Rum Shops. Yes, you’ve read correctly, Rum Shops! These small and locally run businesses embrace the Bajan spice of life, in liquid form. Very delicious! If you’re searching for something a little more special, take a trip to the east coast and visit Sand Dunes Bar and Restaurant at Windy Hill, for an unforgettable experience.

Barbados is a distinct and striking part of the Caribbean. It’s a great fit for all types of travellers, as the island really does have it all. For a little more information about this delightful island, check out our guide to a remarkable stay!

Barbados is the ideal destination to bring the family to, especially if you have some little explorers who are keen to see a new world.

How about starting the holiday with a helicopter tour of the island? Most of these exhilarating tours last around half an hour and you and the kids will see a birds-eye view of the coastline and some of the rugged aspects of the island. A truly great way to start the holiday.

Make your way to the most northern point of the island and reveal the fairy tail setting of the Animal Flower Cave. Guests are welcome to swim amongst the rock pool on calm days and children will be fascinated by the sea anemones that have created a home for themselves.

For inland activities, look no further than Barbados Wildlife Reserve. Within Farley Hill National Park, the Reserve specialises in preserving the natural habitat and re-habilitating wildlife. The kids will love learning about animal preservation and will be able to see the renowned Green Monkeys fool around in trees. The Reserve also offers guests the use of dining facilities, so no need to bring a pack lunch!

  • Paradise

    on 21/04/2019

My family stayed at the Windfall Villa in Barbados for 8 days in April of 2019. We had a fantastic time. The home was great, just the way the pictures on the web page portrayed it. All the bedrooms where very nice and clean, the staff was amazing and Chef Kirk was great!!! We really enjoyed a relaxing weekend in paradise and will definitely go back to the island.

  • Thanks for an AWESOME vacation!!!

    on 04/01/2019

The property was perfect for both families with 2 master suites and three other suites for the kids. The layout of the property was great with numerous casual seating and eating with even a more formal dining room. We were only planning on using the chef a couple times but ended up using him a lot more. We all enjoyed eating at the house more than eating out (quicker, easier, a lot better service and significantly better tasting). We would highly recommend this property and all of the staff.
