Charming
Having stayed in the main house 2 years ago my partner and I returned to Sayer's Park for a quiet weekend in the country and stayed at the charming 1 bed Fairytale Cottage. It has no electricity and is tucked away from the main estate, but thats no issue as long as you dont mind stepping back in time, keeping the fire alight and seeing by candle light (bounteously supplied). The heating system running off the stove is highly efficient and provides plenty of hot water. This cottage really is a fantastic romantic getaway for those who want to step back to a time without electricty, TVs, and other modern day distractions. It will be even better once the newly planted woodland has matured a bit. For those that can't cope with the thought of being without Facebook or 'Twatter' for a few days - they helpfully provide a charger that kept our battery powered record player going all weekend!
