The affluent market town of Morpeth is less than ten minutes away, ideal for enjoying bustling shops and restaurants. Hepscott House is the holiday home of your dreams! 

Spread over three fabulous floors, each and every corner of this property is carefully designed, catering to your every comfort. The furnishings are stylish and modern throughout, with grand features providing an atmosphere of grandeur and luxury! This vast property comfortably sleeps fourteen guests, with seven spacious, double bedrooms, all complete with an en-suite. The master bedroom can be found on the first floor, complete with a dressing room and elegant balcony with space for two chairs, offering a romantic ambience to the space. One of the bedrooms can be found in a separate annex, accessed by a staircase in the cinema room and offering a fully self-contained suite, with a kitchen and living area, perfect for those who would like some extra privacy. There is a huge lounge, dining room, cinema room, office, open plan kitchen-diner and an additional lounge. As well as the full-size heated pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room and a large bar with bespoke leather seating.

Stepping out to the picturesque garden, you are surrounded by complete privacy, a perfect holiday retreat. With space do dine outside and a barbecue on offer, this is a fabulous space in the summer months! With something for everyone, this fabulous home is perfect for your stay away, a luxurious and unforgettable holiday location!

What you should know…

  • The top floor bedroom can be tricky to access due to the narrow spiral staircase, so please do bear this in mind.
  • Two dogs are very welcome at Hepscott House, although they must be kept downstairs at all times and ideally must sleep in the spacious and warm utility room overnight.
  • The annex bedroom is a luxury ‘self-contained’ apartment, originally used for a live-in nanny.
  • The formal dining room seats 8 guests and the large table in the kitchen seats 6 guests, with an additional 3 bar stools in the kitchen too. Unfortunately, no extra dining seating can be provided.

Hepscott House is located in the pretty village of Hepscott, just a short, 10-minute drive from the charming, affluent market town of Morpeth.

Morpeth is the perfect place to visit if you want to enjoy stylish shopping and the rich history of this area. With a unique combination of history, heritage and beauty, this bustling market town is the ideal base to explore what the Northumberland county has to offer. There is a fabulous farmers market in the historic market area on the first Saturday of every month, perfect for picking up some of the amazing local produce.

Two babies are welcome at this charming property, a travel cot and highchair are available for use upon request. The upstairs gallery landing has an ornate balustrade which has an inbuilt gate for prevent access for children upstairs. Due to the nature of the stairs, a stair gate cannot be fitted at the bottom. The snug within the kitchen can also be kept enclosed. The enclosed garden is very safe for kids, and the surrounding areas are perfect for exploring as a family.

Pool, Sauna, Steam Room and Hot Tub
The pool and other facilities are a fantastic feature of Hepscott House and you’re guaranteed to have lots of fun! Naturally, there are regulations that you need to adhere to when using the pool and other facilities. The pool is heated and when not in use, the electric cover must be fitted at all times to conserve energy. The hygiene of the pool and hot tub is checked regularly by pool maintenance staff. If they ever require to access the property during your stay, we will seek permission from you.

The glass doors to the pool area can be locked and kept secure to save little ones (or in fact adults!) from sneaking in unsupervised. Under no circumstances should any alcohol be consumed in the pool, nor should any glassware be taken into the pool area. Plastic glasses are provided in the bar for use for soft drinks in the pool area.

Dogs
Dogs can not be left unattended in our House. If you wish to visit somewhere where dogs are not welcome, such as a country house, a restaurant or go on a boat trip, The owner can arrange dog sitting for you. Their charge is £8 per hour or part thereof (paid to the sitter direct).

Accessibility

Accommodation is across 3 floors and is not suitable to guests who struggle with stairs, as there are no ground floor bedrooms.

Bedding

All duvets and pillows are non-feather, suitable for those with allergies, and high quality linens all provided.

Security deposit £950 paid directly to the property owner prior to arrival. It is refundable provided no damage, loss or additional cleaning occurs during your stay.
