Overview

Ideal for Kids

Marylebone Place is a vivacious and seductive home, styled with panache and bold touches, within classical townhouse architecture, set within the very sought-after Marylebone Village.

An elegant, open plan living space offers a stylish area for the group to recline or dine together after a busy day in the capital. Impeccably executed, this home offers abundant light and high ceilings, with a tasteful mix of retro and mid-century style furnishings, and pops of vivid colour against an understated base palette.

Guests have a stylish dining area, marina blue sofa, cutting-edge contemporary accessories blending alongside original fireplace and windows. Uber-modern art and sleek walnut and upholstered chairs will appeal to the design-conscious traveller.

Suave monochrome accents, such as black blinds, paintwork and upholstery contrast with the opulent fireplace tiles and elegant patterned fabrics.

The kitchen is every inch the stylish foodie’s abode; with classic and urban touches, the glossy, sleek white units contrast with steely, grey industrial appliances. Exposed brickwork and whitewashed flooring retain the edgy, contemporary feel. The chef-worthy, state of the art appliances will appeal to aspiring cooks.

Three sumptuous bedrooms can accommodate six guests, offering a double, a king and a super king bed. These elegant and sophisticated bedrooms offer a stylish, tranquil haven for the weary guest! Again, sultry monochrome effects blend with pretty yet modern prints; crisp cotton white bed linen and black timber bed-frame contrasting with vibrant floral print wallpaper.

Sophisticated, hotel-grade shower rooms offer the same modern, slick design; the bedrooms have black roman blinds and abundant storage space.

Marylebone Place is an elegant, effortlessly stylish home that wouldn’t be out of place in a design magazine, offering airy, low-key accommodation of immaculate standards for the discerning guest. Hotel-level convenience (personal welcome, on-call host support, luxury toiletries, towels and linen) within a tranquil, private haven in one of London’s trendiest areas.

Balcombe Street is nestled in the heart of quiet, residential Marylebone Village, which offers charming terraces, Georgian brickwork and expansive squares. This stunning home is just a few moments from both Marylebone and Baker Street tubes.

Marylebone Place has the advantage of offering a taste of historical London, along with some of the main tourist hotspots. The Sir John Balcome, on the very same street, is a bright, traditional pub with a piano, selling real ales and British food.

For a smart meal out, The Landmark combines magnificent Victorian architecture with five-star service and luxury; whilst Ali Baba offers sumptuous Egyptian cuisine.

This home is within walking distance to the sedate and elegant Regents Park.

For an authentic London bar experience, the Potting Shed offers modern European cuisine, whilst The Landmark combines magnificent Victorian architecture with five-star service!

Excellently located, Marylebone Place is just a short walk to Oxford Street, offering proximity to the “buzz” of London’s top attractions, but nevertheless, tranquil in its village-like appeal.

Marylebone High Street is one of London’s most chic and cutting-edge shopping streets; awash with independent and achingly cool new brands, interior designers, cool kids fashion labels and abundant eateries!

At the smarter end, the Orrery is a sleek environment to enjoy French cuisine, whilst FishWorks is a fun pit-stop, or for a posh sandwich on-the-go, Daylesford Organic or Paul’s will hit the spot.

This shopping hub has drawn together many quality brands and independent businesses, without the usual high street bustle. The Conran Shop is always worth a look around, for cool accessories and the latest designs; and La Fromagerie is a charming stop for an array of sumptuous cheeses.

For coffee or a glass of wine, many of the old-school pubs in the area attract a local client clientele; Coco de Mer draws in a young crowd and is a fun summer pub which, in true London style, spills into the surrounding pavements.

Daunts Books is always a hallmark of a quality shopping area in London, whilst the Wallace Collection on Manchester Square (set in Hertford House) is a collection of European paintings, miniatures and sculptures as well as French eighteen-century furniture - the original family home of The Marquess of Hertford and Sir Richard Wallace. Taking afternoon tea in the exquisitely light atrium at the Wallace Collection, in true English refinement, with finger sandwiches, scones and champagne are one of life’s greatest pleasures; a charming stop in the midst of a busy day!

Fairuz offers wonderful mezze upon mezze of mouth-watering Lebanese food, whilst for a real hidden gem, Portman Square is a private and peaceful spot to get away from it all; this central garden has a lawn, winding paths and children’s play area.
