On a quiet, residential lane in the heart of Kensington, Gregory Place offers an insight into local life and commerce, whilst being a few moments from some of London’s main attractions.

Kensington is one of London’s most upscale areas, home to some of the capital’s most famous free museums, two royal parks and a range of fabulous shops. This chic borough is occupied by London’s elite; a resplendent enclave of stucco-fronted and pastel toned homes, jostling alongside trendy bars and eateries.

The closest tube to Gregory Place is High Street Kensington; whilst the Royal Albert Hall and Natural History Museum are on its doorstep.

The vibrant, eclectic and arty Notting Hill, with the famous, world’s oldest antique street market at Portobello Road, is a short distance away.

As well as the world-renowned museums, there are many, fascinating and intriguing lesser-known museums and galleries. The Design Museum is set in a grade ll listed building in Kensington High Street; the building has been transformed by a team led by the well-known architect John Pawson - from fashion to furniture, from product to graphic design, this is an international designers’ hub.

Eighteen Stafford Terrace is just a few moments walk away, for a virtually untouched and immaculately preserved slice of Victorian living, one of the only genuine Victorian townhouses remaining, it has become something of a hidden national treasure.

Located on the edge of Holland Park, Leighton House Museum is one of the most opulent museums in London; the ornate nineteenth-century home of Lord Leighton is decorated with domed ceilings, gilded walls, flamboyant artwork and fountains. This is a small scale museum which makes for a nice afternoon’s activity, whilst Holland Park itself is small, little known by tourists, and offers something of a secret escape into woodlands, wild ponds and pavilions; set in one of London’s most elegant areas, it makes for a romantic stroll or day out as a family.

High Street Kensington is just moments away, which offers a wide array of high street boutiques and a flagship Whole Foods store, and for a treat, The Orangery at Kensington Palace Gardens offers an unapologetically decadent and elegant dining experience!

Dukes Apartment is suitable for babies, toddlers and children of all ages! This bright, light airy home offers easy open plan layout that the whole family can enjoy. Safe, simple in its adornments and uncluttered, children will feel at ease and enjoy the generous proportions.

The twin bedroom is a sweet, welcoming retreat, offering calm tranquillity, whilst the large bath can accommodate more than one for soapy time fun!

Parents can rest in the knowledge that all modern touches are in place: washing machine, dishwasher, satellite, cable and wifi.

Only Kensington could have a members club for kids! Maggie & Rose is open on weekdays from 9am to 7pm and drop-in classes are available; classes include mini musicians, crafty creative play and messy masters art. Children up to the age of nine are welcome; there are a soft play area and an excellent cafe for parents.

This neighbourhood has endless possibilities for children’s activities. Holland Park Adventure Playground is an excellent choice on a warm day, offering so much from swings to mini climbing wall to the aerial runway! This is the Royal Borough’s largest park with over twenty-two hectares of gardens, play facilities, cafe and woodland.

A further great option is the Princess Diana Memorial Playground; this magical world of pirate ships and intriguing sculptures, as well as tepees and a sensory trail, will spark endless creativity and make-believe play for children of all ages,

For possible rainy days, Queens Bowling & Ice offers ten-pin bowling alleys and ice rink, together with an American diner style cafe, whilst KidZania in Shepherd’s Bush is an indoor city built just for children, offering a child-sized cityscape with such a breadth of activities that parents and children alike will be able to while hours away.

- The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.

- For stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service. More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.

- There is no air-conditioning in this apartament. Between June and September fans will be placed in each bedroom. Please let us know if you'd like fans outside the summer period.

- This home is spread over three floors with no internal elevator.

- For bookings made more than 7 days before guests arrive, we offer a 24-hour period from the time of booking during which you can cancel and receive a full refund.

- After the 24-hour period, we refund 50% of the booking value, up to 14 days before guests arrive. If you cancel within 14 days of arrival, the booking is non-refundable.

- Bookings made within 7 days of arrival are non-refundable.
