Apple House is a beautiful example of a large typical Edwardian house that is a perfect English countryside recluse for families and friends. The property is set in its own grounds and offers a vast array of indoor and outdoor amenities which the whole family can enjoy.

Ground Floor
Entrance hall: A spacious area where to meet and greet any guests.
Sitting room: Located at the front of the house and equipped with Sky TV, a beautiful fireplace and comfortable sofas.
Dining room: Large antique round table and sideboards.
Family room: This very large and cosy room is ideal for entertaining and has been installed with an open fire, cinema screen and projector (DVD player), TV, card table, chess table, piano, and also there are several sofas and chairs and doors lead to the veranda.
Kitchen: A fully equipped family kitchen which includes an Aga with gas hob, a large American fridge with ice machine, a large family area with a long pine table seating up to 8 persons and also a utility room with dishwasher.
Games room: including a 3/4 size, original snooker table.
Two cloakrooms both installed with a W.C.
Large orangery/conservatory: There is a mass of colourful plants, plus a wood burning stove and a table with 8 chairs.

First Floor
Master bedroom: Large double room with king size bed, dressing table, chaise lounge, TV and a fully equipped en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower, under floor heating, double basins, heated towel rail and W.C.
Bedroom 2: King size bed, large wardrobe, sofa, chair and TV.

Second Floor
2 Double bedrooms: There are 2 further bedrooms that can be either equipped with double beds or be set up as children's bedrooms or a mixture of both
Bathroom 2: equipped with a Victorian iron bathtub, basin, W.C. and under floor heating.

Grounds

Apple House is a house with lots to do inside and out! The Pool house offers wonderful uninterrupted views and is well equipped with a large sunbathing area with reclining chairs, two stone tables, 8 chairs, a sauna, a hot tub, and of course the heated pool swimming pool, which is indoors with underwater lighting and swim jets. There is also a large children's climbing frame with a slide, swings, etc.

You will also be spoilt for choice on outdoor eating areas, close to the house there is a large round 8-seater table and barbecue. In the orchard there is a beautiful thatched dining area perfect for watching the sunset and can seat 10 or more persons. The veranda, which lies at the rear of the house, has rocking chairs, a table for 8 persons and is covered by a trellis decorated with vines. There is a large covered barbecue area with a large gas barbecue, together with a coal barbecue and paella ring.

Apple House is an ultimate kid friendly property! With so much to do onsite and in the local area there is no chance of anyone getting bored.

Younger children can have fun on the climbing frame, swings, slide and trampoline. whilst teenagers can enjoy a round of tennis, badminton, boules or a swim in the indoor pool.

During the spring months children can enjoy a mini farm experience at Apple House. As there are often pigs, goats, chickens, ducks, geese and lambs to feed at the paddock on site.

In the Summer and Sutumn month children can pick fresh fruit from the orchard or vegatables from the garden.

    Thank you so much for the rental of your house and accommodating my request to have the extra family over on the saturday. We had the most wonderful stay together as a family - the house and grounds are just perfect, couldn't of asked for more. We also wanted to give a shout out for Laslo - he was really such a help and such a pleasure to speak with and great with the children.

     

    Overall a perfect celebration for my parents.

    We are an extended family of six, including three adult children (16, 19, 22), parents (older than 22) and my mother (89) who had a brilliant week at Apple House. With 5 decent size / large bedrooms the house could easily and happily accommodated 10.

     

    What made the holiday outstanding were the amenities (great indoor pool, tennis court, trampoline, table tennis, gym etc. etc.) and the great welcome and support of the Beata and Laszlo, who live unobtrusively on-site and the tips from Richard (the owner) on places to go, take-aways, restaurants etc.

     

    Don't miss out on the canoeing (the nearby river was beautiful) or the quad biking.

     

    We have been lucky enough as a family to visit some great places in this country and abroad, but for the all round package this was "voted" the best, we have been to, by the family.

    So much for the use of your lovely house for the weekend. We had a really super time. There was so much to do, we wished we could have had a week in order to properly take advantage of everything on offer! Up until today we were lucky with the weather and so were able to play lots of tennis, bounce, badminton etc etc and enjoy our bbq outside which was great, the children also swam endlessly in your wonderfully warm pool. Mihail and Monika were so helpful and kind and cooked our bbq beautifully on Sunday. The house was also immaculately clean and tidy when we arrived and the garden also looking lovely. We adored the chickens and particularly the ducks!

    The chef we found was fine but I'm not sure I'd recommend her - she isn't local as she comes from Thame, and although she travels all over the place I don't think it was ideal. I hope we left everything as we found it and thanks again for a wonderful venue in which to celebrate Dad's birthday.
