This modern villa in Mallorca maintains a remote, countryside feeling, though it’s just minutes away from the city of Pollensa. The saltwater swimming pool and outdoor kitchen and lounge invite you to drink in the fresh air, while mountains in the distance overlook your perfect Mallorcan holiday.
The chef will especially love the ultramodern kitchen, where the Sunday market haul can take shape into a fabulous meal.
Your holiday villa is close enough to walk into Pollensa (1.4 km), a pretty hillside town with winding cobbled streets, overlooking the sea.
Golfers will want to spend the day at the nine holes of Golf Pollensa, just a 5 minute drive away. For a day at the beach, head to Puerto Pollensa (8 km) where the white sand and blue water attracts divers, sailors, and sunbathers galore.
Wine could quickly become the centrepiece of your trip - Mallorcan viticulture is an undiscovered gem, so you’ll find excellent values and unique varietals.
Look for wines made from the Callet grape; dark purple and grown only by the Mallorcan seaside, it pairs perfectly with sobrassada (a local cured sausage). Food and wine lovers rejoice - Mallorca is the place to be.
What you should know…
- Car hire is recommended
- Although the villa is walking distance to the town of Pollensa, the lane does not have a pavement and can be narrow in parts.
- In late July each year, the Moors and Christians Festival takes place in Pollensa with a week of festivities culminating in the carnival on the 2nd of August. During this period visitors can expect loud music and celebrations into the night, especially on the 2nd of August.

About the surrounding area of Casa OsteroThe property is located in the peaceful countryside, just a short distance from the historic town of Pollensa, and only a short drive to the beautiful bays of Puerto Pollensa and Cala San Vicente.
Pollensa has everything you need for a beautiful holiday, situated inland from some of Spain's finest sand beaches.
The town itself centres around beautiful cobbled streets leading to a traditional church. Wander the streets that lead to the church to discover traditional outlets selling a range of foods, arts and crafts as well as cafes, restaurants and bars.
The highlight of the week is the authentic and traditional market that occurs every Sunday morning. Get there early to secure the freshest fruit, vegetables, meat and fish.
The Calvari steps provide the best view of the local area but are warned that to get to the top you have to climb 365 of them. However, the climb is worth it, and the views do not disappoint.

THE REGION
Pollensa, in the north of the island, is an ancient town of attractive narrow streets and an impressive main square, lined with cafés, restaurants and bars, and is just a few kilometres from Port de Pollensa.
The town has several places of interest to visit, including the Roman bridge, signposted ‘Pont Roma’, which is still in use, and the Puig de Pollensa – a small mountain topped by a monastery just outside the town. Here we provide all the information you want to know to make the most of this relaxed yet culturally satisfying inland town.

Best Suited For: All AgesThe villa is a lovely place for kids to hang out - teenagers and older children will love having their own space, while children of all ages will love swimming in the pool. The outdoors area all good to run around and play, will ensure many fun evenings!
The house is a beautiful family retreat in a quiet location but close to so many fun things to do together as a family, from exploring beaches to having dinner in the old town of Pollensa.
The local area is ideal for those who want to get a bit more active, with invigorating coastal walks and cycling terrain that even the pros are challenged by. The island is excellent for horse-riding and water-sports, and for beach life, it’s pretty unbeatable too, with the golden sands of Port de Pollença and Cala Sant Vicenç well worth seeking out.
