Located in the small village of Kokkino Chorio, close to the larger village of Plaka, with restaurants, shops and beautiful beaches nearby, there is everything you could need for an unforgettable Cretan holiday!
The villa easily accommodates eight guests, with room for everyone to socialise together and to enjoy private moments alone. Each bedroom has access to a private terrace or balcony, and with a large roof terrace at the top of the villa with a luxurious hot tub, there is plenty of space to spread out. Within the villa, the design is modern and spacious, with living areas flowing easily from space to space, creating a natural flow to the property. The lines between the indoors and outdoors blend together, with sliding glass doors creating seamless barriers that allow you to amble in and out with ease. Each window creates a picture frame image of the diverse natural surroundings, drawing the landscape within the villa’s walls.
The villa has four spacious bedrooms, three of them have double beds, while the fourth has two single beds. The four bedrooms are well-organised, each with it's own bathroom and an additional guest WC. Bath amenities are provided, as are robes and slippers. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary electrical appliances making your stay comfortable. After a busy day in the sun, relax in the living area or dine in the indoor dining table. The patio doors leads to the outdoor area where a dining table is an ideal spot to eat alfresco, gazing the natural surrounding beauty or watching the sublime sunsets.
Out on the terrace, the large private swimming pool takes pride of place, with a shallow corner for small children, while supervised. Surrounded by luxurious sun loungers and a beautiful outdoor dining and living area. Guests can lounge in the hammock, finishing off a favourite book, or enjoy long evenings watching the sunset on the horizon whilst sharing a bottle of chilled wine. Location
About the surrounding area of Villa AirVilla Air has a fabulous location in the small village of Kokkino Chorio, close to the larger village of Plaka, where helpful amenities and picturesque pebbled beaches can be found. A little further along the coastline, just a 5-minute car journey away, is the resort of Almyrida which boasts a wider range of amenities as well as clean, family-friendly sandy beaches. Chania itself is just forty minutes away by car, with its picturesque Venetian harbour, it really is a must-visit. Chania International Airport is conveniently situated just forty-five minutes away.
With gorges to be walked, ancient sites to be visited, time trodden villages to be discovered, and stunning sandy beaches to be lazed upon, this is the perfect Greek destination for holidaymakers of any age. Plus, food is in abundance. Look out for fresh seafood and traditional Greek moussaka.
The villa is 28km from the beautiful city of Chania. There you'll find a charming Venetian Harbour and old port, alongside narrow shopping streets and waterfront restaurants. From Chania, it's a two-hour drive to the island's capital Heraklion where you can immerse yourself in ancient culture. The vibrant port city is best known for the Palace of Knossos. The archaeological site dates back thousands of years to the Minoan civilisation. Guarding the city's Venetian port is the 16th-century Koules fortress. A drive around Heraklion will also bring you to traditional villages, Medieval castles, Byzantine monasteries and secluded coves.

How to reach Chania
There are two ways to reach Chania: either by flight or by ferry.
By plane: Chania Airport (CHQ) is only a 20 minutes ride away from central Chania. During the summer months, frequents overseas and domestic flights are performed. In most of the cases, there are available buses that connect Chania city and most of the villas. You can also hire a car from one of the many rental companies at the airport, or alternatively get a taxi to bring you right to your doorstep.
By ferry: If you choose to do an island-hopping trip and use the ferry as a method of transportation, then the closest port is in Souda, only 8km from the centre of Chania. Only ferries from Piraeus in Athens or Heraklion in Crete. Heraklion port has a wider choice: you can also take a ferry from other Greek islands like Santorini, Mykonos or Paros, but you will have to take a longer bus ride to reach your villa. | End of stay cleaning included? | Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit. |

Oliver's Travels had been recommended to us as a good company to book with and we were not disappointed. From our initial inquiry, through the booking process and ultimately to our stay in the villa we booked, we were thoroughly impressed with the service we received. The villa was really beautiful and very well equipped. And the real bonus was our fabulous villa host, Mike Kotica. He was so friendly and helpful. He organised our fridge stock for us before we arrived which was very helpful. He also helped us book taxis during our stay and was always available to answer any questions. Outstanding
We stayed in Villa Air and we have to say it was outstanding. The modern contemporary feel and fantastic amenities, including air conditioning, wifi, hot tub and pool, along with stunning views along the Souda coastline were just sublime. A daily cleaning service and Jon on hand for any questions really helped make our stay all the more enjoyable and relaxing. The local beachfront villages and every restaurant was very welcoming, hospitable and cheap - we didn't have a bad meal throughout our stay. Would definitely visit again.
