The private infinity pool is perfect for those wanting to take a dip and cool off in the heat of the Cretan sun. A number of sun loungers surround the pool, for those who are less inclined to take a splash and prefer to soak up the sun’s rays.
The villa has been beautifully designed with high attention to detail, boasting elegant interiors and stylish furnishings. Villa Thalia beautifully intertwines natural materials of marble, wood and natural stone leaving a quality, high-end finish. The charm of this modern villa continues throughout the home, which is tastefully decorated, with no area left untouched. The downstairs seamlessly flows from living space and dining room, to the kitchen and outdoors. This contemporary scheme is continued throughout the bedrooms, enabling relaxation at every turn, especially on the balconies where you can envelope yourself in the natural beauty of the view.
On the ground floor is the master en-suite bedroom, is fitted with a luxurious bathtub and has immediate access to the pool terrace. Heading upstairs, guests will find the second double bedroom, with a walk-in Spa shower in the en-suite bathroom. The bedroom has a balcony, which is ideal for a spot of star gazing.
What you should know…
- The villa layout means that there is one bedroom on each level, this might not suit those travelling with very young children
- While the villa is in an excellent location, we recommend hiring a car in order to reach local amenities and fully explore West Crete

Location
About the surrounding area of Villa ThaliaThe villa has an excellent location within a small, private gated community close to the village of Kaliviani, where a range of amenities can be found. The nearest beach can be found just a few-minutes away at Gramvoussa Bay, although we recommend venturing a little further and heading to either Falassarna or Balos Lagoon, both of these beautiful beaches are around twenty-minutes away by car. The closest resort, Kissamos, is around ten-minutes away and boasts a wider selection of amenities. The airport, Chania International, is conveniently located just under an hour away.

How to reach Chania
There are two ways to reach Chania: either by flight or by ferry.
By plane: Chania Airport (CHQ) is only a 20 minutes ride away from central Chania. During the summer months, frequents overseas and domestic flights are performed. In most of the cases, there are available buses that connect Chania city and most of the villas. You can also hire a car from one of the many rental companies at the airport, or alternatively get a taxi to bring you right to your doorstep.
By ferry: If you choose to do an island-hopping trip and use the ferry as a method of transportation, then the closest port is in Souda, only 8km from the centre of Chania. Only ferries from Piraeus in Athens or Heraklion in Crete. Heraklion port has a wider choice: you can also take a ferry from other Greek islands like Santorini, Mykonos or Paros, but you will have to take a longer bus ride to reach your villa. Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesVilla Thalia is a great escape for families: in the lounge, there is a huge L-shaped sofa in front of the TV, so when kids are tired, they can sink down into the comfy cushions watching a movie or playing games! The pergola on the terrace leaves some of the seating in the shade, ideal for younger kids. Please be aware that there is no fence around the pool, so little children will need to be supervised as they adventure around the terrace!
The beaches in Crete draw in families with young kids as the waters tend to be shallow and warm, and the shores sandy, making it safe and fun for kids to splash and play, whilst adults can keep an easy eye on them from the comfort of a deck chair! Lots of the beaches are perfect for snorkelling, discovering the rocks and life beneath the water, you can normally buy snorkels at the local shops or bring your own from home.

| End of stay cleaning included? | Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit. |

The Greek government requires owners to collect a Tourist Climate Tax, your property manager will collect this in cash:
