The Avlaki Beach House, located on the tranquil northeast coast of Corfu, offers a serene retreat for guests seeking a luxurious holiday experience. The property comprises a main villa and two cottages, all elegantly furnished and nestled within a lush garden adorned with Mediterranean flora and trees. A private wooden jetty provides direct access to the adjacent beach. Ideal for groups or families with older children, the accommodation includes four bedrooms distributed among the main villa and cottages.
The property exudes a sense of privacy and tranquillity, with meticulously maintained gardens and inviting relaxation areas. The main villa and cottages feature tasteful decor, characterized by a Greek-inspired colour palette and stylish furnishings. Each bedroom offers its own unique charm and comfort, with luxurious amenities and attention to detail.
The main villa features two double bedrooms, a spacious living room, and a well-appointed kitchen and dining area opening onto a shaded terrace. French doors and sliding doors provide ample natural light and views of the garden and sea. The second cottage includes a master bedroom suite, a cosy living space, and a modern kitchen, while the third building houses a charming bedroom suite with an ensuite bathroom.
Outdoor amenities include a private pool, multiple terraces with alfresco furniture, and a beachfront lounge and dining area equipped with a barbecue and pizza oven. What you should know…
- Avlaki Beach House is comprised of three buildings, the main villa and two cottages. The four bedrooms are spread amongst the buildings so that each guests enjoy sublime private space amongst the colour of the garden. This may not be ideal for young children though
- Not ideal for disabled people as there are small steps throughout and big beach stones

How to reach Corfu island
There are two ways to get to Corfu island: either by flight or by ferry.
By plane: During April to October, several direct flights arrive to "Ioannis Kapodistrias" Airport from Europe as Corfu is one of the most popular travel destinations in Greece. During these months, the airport also receives many domestic flights every day from Athens and Thessaloniki.
By ferry: Travelling by ferry is the most popular way of transport in Greece. Ferries to Corfu depart from Patra and Igoumenitsa. If you are travelling from Europe, Corfu is easily accessible by ferry from Venice, Bari, Brindisi or Ancona too. Best Suited For: All AgesAvlaki Beach House offers a favourable setting for a family vacation, with consideration for the age of children. The main villa features two bedrooms, complemented by additional accommodations in separate cottages. While older children may appreciate the independence afforded by the cottages, this arrangement may not be suitable for younger ones. The beachfront location is noteworthy, and guests can also enjoy the onsite pool facilities.
Families visiting Corfu have access to a variety of activities. The island offers diverse beach options, ranging from secluded coves to well-equipped stretches with water sports and dining amenities. Avlaki Beach is known for snorkelling and water activities, although it consists of pebbles and can be windy in the afternoons. Acharavi is another family-friendly beach with opportunities for sailing and windsurfing lessons. Avlaki also caters to equestrian interests at Dimitris stables, welcoming riders of all ages to explore the scenic coastline with guides.
For adventurous experiences, Aqualand Water Park provides entertainment for children of all ages, featuring a range of rides and slides including a lazy river, wave pool, and extreme slides. Additionally, families can venture to Mount Pantokrator, Corfu's highest peak, offering panoramic views of the island and beyond. Hiking trails are available for exploration.
In Corfu Town, children can engage in activities such as climbing the walls of the Old Fortress, built in the 15th century, and the New Fortress, both offering stunning vistas of turquoise waters. Kalypso Star, a glass-bottomed boat, provides tours of the Ionian Sea's marine life, departing from the harbour.
