Villa Habel is one of two contemporary, spacious villas built recently overlooking the fabulous Elia Beach. Using warm honey-coloured stone and traditional Mykonian style in a thoroughly modern way, the villa is supremely comfortable and luxurious with minimalist design. A variety of materials are used in an excellent way to create a warm, indulgent ambience. Each of the villas is completely private with excellent facilities and absolutely stunning, breathtaking views across colourful, attractive planting to the gorgeous beach and brilliant blue waters.
Elia Beach is a stunning, silvery-white sandy beach on the south coast of Mykonos which is family-friendly with a variety of watersports, cafes and water taxis that can ferry you to the other south coast beaches. Mykonos has so much to offer with pretty, whitewashed villages, amazing beaches, gourmet restaurants and amazing, lively parties hosted by famous international DJ’s.
The wonderful Villa Habel has seven luxury bedrooms, all with dazzling ensuite bathrooms as well as astonishing indoor and outdoor entertainment spaces. The furnishings are unique and trendy, each specially chosen for its special place. The villa is extremely spacious and covers 340 sqm. The open plan living and dining room look out to the terrace, pool and sea. It is an elegant, sophisticated space with an attractive painted beamed ceiling typical of the Mykonian style. The light fittings are striking and beautiful. The kitchen is sleek, immaculate and very well equipped. The bathrooms are exquisite, featuring the typical curves but in various materials, plaster, cement, wood, some chalk-white and others are stone or grey hues. Unusual for Mykonos, one is even green! Chiselled stone sinks sit on fabulous worktops. Great attention to detail is evident everywhere. Some of the bedrooms have double beds and other twins though these are next to each other. Some of the bedrooms also have kitchenettes, so it is very easy to make your morning cup of coffee without going anywhere. The villa boasts an amazing, well-equipped gym.
Outside you will be greeted by a warm, glowing ambience on the incredible terrace and outdoor living space. The covered alfresco dining and lounge is sublime and atmospheric. The stone walls are very attractive and in front of you is the delightful infinity pool with its jacuzzi and underwater windows through to the bedrooms. It is a unique feature. Many deluxe bean bag beds and loungers surround the pool. There are so many places to relax and enjoy this special villa. The lighting is very clever and provides a magical evening setting. Together with the outdoor audio system, you have many fabulous chilled evenings to look forward to!

What you should know…
- It is possible to book the next-door villa, Villa Heber, if you have more than 14 guests travelling together
- Three of the bedrooms are located in guesthouses at a different level from the main house, which may be worth noting for those travelling with small children
- The picturesque village of Ano Mero is only 3km from the villa and a must visit! The nearest supermarket is found there

Location
About the surrounding area of Villa HabelVilla Habel sits next to its sister villa, Villa Heber, within a gorgeous plot overlooking the beautiful Elia Beach. The villa is very private, and the sea views are framed by the pretty hillside and gorgeous, colourful planting in the villa’s garden. There are 25 beaches on Mykonos Island. The beaches on the south coast are more sheltered, and some are highly organised party beaches. Windsurfers and kitesurfers tend to head for the beaches on the north coast with their challenging winds and surf. The beaches of Kalo Livadi, Agrari, Platys Gialos, Kalafatis are all very popular. The trendy beach bars of Paradise Beach and Super Paradise Beach are the famous for their cocktails and international DJ’s once the sun has gone down. Until the morning hours, party revellers will be out in full force. There are a number of dive and windsurfing schools that are based on Platys Gialos, Kalafatis and Paradise Beaches. There is a colourful marine life to explore as well as two shipwrecks.
Sports enthusiasts will be delighted with the watersports, the Mykonos Tennis Club and of course the villa’s fantastic gym. Cyclists can attend organised tours of the island with Yummy Pedals to explore the hidden beaches and the lush interior of the island.
Highlights of the vibrant Mykonos Town are the whitewashed Paraportiani Church which is just one of the 800 chapels and churches in Mykonos, the waterside Little Venice which is buzzing with chic bars next to the water and souvenir and jewellery shops, the picturesque windmills hugging the hillside above Little Venice and the wonderful bougainvillaea-draped Matogliani Street famous for designer shopping. The gourmet dining scene rivals any of the Greek islands. Mykonos Town is charming. It is a warren of narrow streets decked with bars and cafes.
Other attractions of Mykonos are the picturesque whitewashed villages such as Ano Mera with its wonderful monasteries and rustic-chic vibe and boat trips to the sacred island of Delos. There is also a microbrewery that you can visit. Mykonos Brewing Company boasts six wine-barrel aged craft beers that you can taste and purchase.

Best Suited For: All AgesChildren will love staying at Villa Habel. The gardens and terraces are very spacious and the infinity pool is fantastic. They will be racing for an early morning swim so that you can see their legs through the underwater windows!
The villa is very close to the exceptional Elia Beach with its fun watersports, sun loungers, parasols and cafes. Kalafatis, Kalo Livadi and Agrari are also close to the villa. The PADI and CMAS certified Mykonos Dive Centre, Go Dive Mykonos and W-Diving welcome all levels from complete beginners to experienced divers. There are two shipwrecks and a rich variety of marine life to discover.
In Mykonos there are special family trips to an organic farm, to hike and explore the beautiful island or to learn to cook some traditional Greek dishes. Children will learn more about life on Mykonos Island, its people and culture while they are preparing some delicious food.
Boat trips can be taken from the harbour of Mykonos Town to visit the sacred island of Delos, the smallest island of the Cyclades. The trips usually include some swimming or snorkelling as well as a visit to the island’s famous Doric temples, markets, amphitheatre, houses, mosaics and the iconic Terrace of the Lions.
Mykonos Town’s open-air cinema is very popular with families. It is set in a pretty botanical garden with lush palms, cactus and colourful flowers. Films are shown at 9pm and 11pm, some being suitable for children. They are in English with Greek subtitles. The cinema has a restaurant so you can enjoy dinner then watch a film.
