Nicely situated outside the medieval village of Cetona, within a 5,000 sqm park boasting panoramic views of the rolling countryside, this grandiose villa in Tuscany is an ideal retreat for a large group holiday.
With ten bedrooms spread across three levels (including a double bedroom in the Rapunzel-style tower), and many communal spaces and cosy sitting areas, this thoughtfully restored farmhouse makes it easy for everyone to feel at home and maintain privacy while on holiday together. Six of the bedrooms include en suite bathrooms, as well as great views overlooking the vast estate.
Family-style meals are made with ease in the fully equipped kitchen and kitchenette, and enjoyed at the expansive dining table with room for the whole group. Or, choose an open-air dining experience on the terrace paired with breathtaking sunsets. Unwind by the pool on warm days, then close the day with a nightcap inside by the fireplace.
While there is much to explore close by, including important Estruscan archaeological sites, guests will also be within close reach of many other historic towns, provinces, cultural attractions, and the famous Chianti wine region. While planning your itinerary, grab a pint at Bar Cavour in the Piazza Garibaldi.

About the surrounding area of Casa ChietoCasa Chieto is located just outside the little medieval town of Cetona, situated upon a hilltop among the slopes of Mount Cetona.
A holiday in Cetona usually means rest and tranquility in a picturesque landscape - but there's a lot to keep you occupied in and around the immediate area! Only a short drive away, art lovers will find some of the most exceptional galleries and museums in the world.
In the nearby towns of Chiusi, Montepulciano, Pienza, Cortona, Perugia, Arezzo, Orvieto and Siena, history has left treasures from the time of Etruscans to the Reanaissance. And don't forget that from Cetona you can easily reach Florence and Rome!
Hikers, horse riders, cyclists and nature lovers will find foot-paths and country roads that wind through hillsides and vineyards where they will discover hidden corners and breathtaking views. If it's sports you're after there are ample facilities in Cetona and surroundings.

Celebrate your wedding with best friends and family on a hilltop in the Tuscan countryside in the world famous wine region of Montepulciano.
This villa is great whether you would prefer to organise a small event yourselves or have some help with a larger celebration. Both options can easily be achieved in authentic Italian style.
Being surrounded by fields means that your party can continue until as late as you like and there will be plenty of space for you and your guests to feel at ease.
Wedding Reception
The outdoor grounds (with the possibility of a marquee) or large indoor lounge can host groups of up to 60 people for the reception. Smaller groups could also be seated on the covered terrace of the house.
Dancing can continue in a marquee on the grounds, garden or lounge until as late as you like with no music restrictions.
Wedding Ceremony
It is possible to have a symbolic ceremony on-site in the grounds, marquee or for smaller groups on the covered porch.
Civil ceremonies may be possible 4km away at the local Church or town hall.
The owners can provide the details for an English-speaking celebrant.
Where to Stay
Up to 20 people can sleep on site.
Up to 26 more guests can be housed in a farmhouse 1km from the house and more in other nearby farmhouses.
The owners can supply details of local transport firms.
Wedding Planning
Events related to those sleeping at the villa can all be self-run but the owners supply event planning for those weddings when additional guests will be coming on site.
Catering
The venue provides any catering for the event.

Wonderful and spacious house
We had a really enjoyable and memorable stay here. It’s a great place for a large group - we were four families with ten kids and eight adults and there was plenty of space for everyone to relax and retreat for some peace and quiet. The highlight is the pool which is a great size and has beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. Most of the bedrooms also have kitchenettes and/or sofas, some with TVs, so you never have the feeling of being on top of each other yet there are also spacious communal areas both inside and out for the group to come together. It’s a beautiful building and you can walk all around it and enjoy the views from a range of different seating areas, including a large terrace with long table where the whole group can eat. The large kitchen is well-equipped and the whole house has a rustic charm and is very clean and in good working order. The manager was very helpful in organising extra services like a chef coming in and preparing dinner or dropping off meals. She was always on hand to help out and gave us some great recommendations. All the staff were friendly and professional. The little local town of Cetona is very pretty and great for an evening meal, morning coffee, gelato or aperotivo on the piazza. Would high recommend. Thanks to the whole team!

Southern Tuscan Perfection
Our party of 3 families had the most wonderful holiday in this beautiful Tuscan villa. You reach it via a small track that winds through olive groves and golden fields before arriving at the beautiful, secluded house. There is a perfect swimming pool which looks out across the fields with space for everyone to lie on comfortable sun loungers. The layout of the villa allows for people to have their own personal space when needed but also a large shaded communal eating area for evening meals, wine and dancing. The Kitchen has everything you need to cook up a meal for a large group. The rooms were elegant and beds comfortable with great showers, even at the top of the tower. Good Wi-Fi for the teenagers and good running routes for the runners. Deer, Hares, European Bee-Eaters, Golden Orioles, Toads all made appearances, even found a porcupine spine. Nearby Cetona is a picturesque renaissance Tuscan town with a town square which provided the best ice cream, some simple tasty pizzas and a really great restaurant. The local shops had everything we needed for the week also a very good ceramics and clothes shop. There was even a music festival on our last night. Easy to explore the Montepulciano region or a day trip to Sienna or to the Lakes. But really no need to travel anywhere. Thank you to the hosts and Beatrice who ensured we had all we needed and were so attentive. I almost feel like not giving such a great review as would like this to be a little secret that only we knew about. A wonderful holiday.

Best of Tuscany!
From the time we arrived we were so happy with the location and the villa itself is fabulous and accommodated our large group perfectly! The pool was a welcome bonus after our days traversing around Tuscany. We thoroughly enjoyed your cooking classes, especially the pici pasta and the meals you prepared for us were fabulous...especially the wild boar dish! We enjoyed many bottles of wine from the many wineries we visited and we especially appreciate you arranging for us to visit some of the smaller family owned vineyards. We will always remember our time at “Bea’s villa” and hope to return one day! The very best night was the night we came to your villa and you, your mom and Paolo cooked pizza after pizza after pizza! So delicious and so much fun!

Amazing family holiday in Tuscany
The venue, the location in quiet Tuscany, the peaceful country, the accommodation, the large swimming pool, the maintenance of the villa and grounds all exceeded expectations. The family owners were most helpful including providing an excellent evening meal

Perfect Tuscan gem!
Our extended family of 6 siblings, spouses and a few adult kids stayed in this amazing villa. Everyone had a bedroom with a bathroom. There are several small gathering areas with kitchens and one huge living room, dining room and kitchen. The villa sits on a hill hence the views are expansive, just like you dream about. Outdoor dining is an option. The pool is a wonderful retreat after a day of playing tourist in the large and small towns within driving distance. The villa alone makes this a place where we will return many times; however, it is Bea that made our time there unforgettable. Bea would come to the villa to cook delicious Tuscan dinners or drop off meals already prepared. Bea even taught us a cooking class where we made a fresh pasta dinner. One night we walked through the sunflower fields to Bea's restaurant for dinner and another night for pizza made fresh in her outdoor pizza oven. Magical. Bea's local knowledge was indispensable. She pointed us to small gems of wineries, olive presses, castles and monasteries that aren't in the tourist books. The two weeks we spent in this Tuscan villa were quite remarkable.

Tuscan wedding bliss
Just wrapped up our Tuscan wedding at Casa Chieto with 56 guests and couldn’t be happier with the villa, the pool, the location and the people. Bea, our hostess, is an amazing chef and handled all the heavy lifting with rentals, bands, food, decor and finding lodging for those not staying with us at the villas. Just a dream of an experience and we had Bea cook a welcome dinner, brunch and an additional dinner the week after. Thanks so much for the truly amazing experience!

Perfect with friends and amazing panoramas
Beautiful villa in countryside with rustic style. We booked it for one week long with our friends to enjoy the Tuscan summer life. Comfortable apartments, well equipped villa, beautiful garden, very kind and helpful owner. You can find enough place for kids, friends and family too in the spacious apartments, in the garden or next to the pool. I think this is a perfect place for a family or friends gathering. After a day-long backpack trip or sunbathing you can enjoy a glass of wine in the summer nights next to the pool or under a tree in the garden like us. So what else do you need?! Finally the villa has unique and really amazing panoramas with total privacy. No neighbours, no caretaker, just your group and the memorable Tuscan summer feelings.

Amazing large villa with panoramic views
We spent 2 weeks at the villa - we were a party of 18 ranging in age from 8 to over 60. The property was easily big enough to accommodate us all, and it didn’t feel at all cramped, even with 9 teenagers / young adults. The massive communal kitchen, dining room and terrace was the focal point of our evenings.
Beatrice was the perfect host - she and her team catered for us three times during our stay. Great cooking and good value! We have recommended the property to friends from home, and they have booked for 2019. The local town is very quaint, with some excellent restaurants, but with a different feel to the usual tourist locations of Tuscany. The local residents were very friendly and welcoming. -
