Your villa lies in the village of Lezzeno, where you'll find restaurants and shops among the quaint avenues. Feel free to use the canoes provided for your excursions - it’s easy to launch your vessel from the pebbled beach right outside. Your hosts are nearby and would be happy to arrange any services you desire - from wine tastings to massage, cooking lessons to a personal chef.
Only 7 km away is Bellagio, "The Pearl of Lake Como", where city charms have sprung up beside the most marvelous views. The border of Switzerland lies only an hour away, a perfect day trip!

About the surrounding area of Villa ChichaThe area around Lake Como is one of outstanding beauty. Stretching from the Swiss Alps to the Grigne and Legnone ranges, Lake Como is guarded by spectacular mountain landscapes. Pastel-coloured villages perch along the shorelines and trail up the steep sides. In this part of Italy, there are the simplest rural dwellings as well as the palatial villas of the 18th century.
A walk around one of these central lake villages, up a cobbled avenue or across a church square, will convince visitors to pause for a moment on a sunny bench, to stop for an aperitivo at a sidewalk café or pop into a gelateria for homemade ice cream.
Whether exploring the lake by foot, car or boat, it should be a leisurely experience. Choose from one of the numerous activities the area offers, or simply enjoy the comfort of the splendid private villa.
Milan itself opens up an array of possibilities. Visit Leonardo Da Vinci’s Last Supper, the Duomo, or stroll down the famous shopping street of Via Montenapoleone.
Guests also have the possibility to explore some of northern Italy’s other lakes, such as Lake Maggiore in Piedmont to the west or even a day trip into Switzerland. For the cultural enthusiasts, the historical city of Turin in Piedmont is well within reach, as are Venice and Verona heading east.

Best Suited For: All AgesLake Como is a fantastic place to visit with children as there are plenty of fun activities to keep them busy. Boat tours are a must to be able to take in all the beautiful lake has to offer, there are two different options: a classical Venetian boat or a speed boat. Adventurous families will love all the watersports available including wakeboarding, kayaking, paddle-boarding and sailing.
Off the water there are also many activities to keep active, such as hiking and cycling, both great ways to admire the stunning views of the lake. Only 17km away you can find Jungle Raider Park, an adventure and amusement park built in the trees! The park is made up of five paths of different difficulty levels. Other activities here include canyoning, airsoft and archery – sure to be a fun day out!
Villa Chicha itself is located only a stroll away from the village Lezzeno for whenever the kids fancy another gelato or margherita! If a restful day is needed, a walk with said gelato along the lakeside promenade to admire the beautiful gardens and historic villas will delight.

Sublime!
From the first moment driving through the gates of Villa Chicha to the last sad moment driving away for the last time - this was simply sublime. Beautifully positioned on the lakeside with all the creature comforts of home and very well maintained and presented. Lots of space for 3 active kids to run around and explore with direct lake access to also go swimming when it was warm enough. Stefano and Chicha are fabulous hosts who went out of their way to ensure our visit to Villa Chicha was memorable. We will most definitely be recommending this to friends and family. Outstanding!

Most relaxing holiday ever!
Idyllic location, beautiful villa, perfectly equipped for lazy days. You can spend hours just watching the lake birds and boats. You can even swim in the lake from the little "beach" outside the villa steps. You,ll need waterproof shoes though as is very stoney and painful to walk on barefoot. Two local restaurants are great, easy walking distance. Water taxi at other end of Lezzeno is only 20 minute walk away and bus is just 5 mins away. You will get used to walking on the main road. I wouldn't bother hiring a car as the road from Como to Bellagio is very narrow and pretty hair-raising at times.
