Villa Irida has an excellent location, rurally situated in the Asplathia region, just a short car journey from Lefkada Town itself. Surrounded by olive trees, the villa's location in the lush green hills of the island makes for a relaxing and peaceful stay. Villa Irida is perfect for families wanting a relaxing getaway in the sun.
The modern villa is located in a small complex of five family-owned villas. The villa comfortably sleeps up to four guests across its two bedrooms, with a sofa bed in the living room, sleeping two and in the kitchen area that would sleep two children. The accommodation is set out over three levels and comprises a fully-equipped kitchen complete with all necessary amenities on the basement level, with the living room area upstairs on the ground floor; here, there is access to the outside space. Upstairs, there is a queen-size master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom as well as a twin room with an en-suite shower room.
Outside, the large private pool is the perfect spot to soak up the beautiful views out to sea and really enjoy the tranquil surroundings. There is a dining area, fantastic for those who enjoy al fresco dining or those simply wishing to enjoy a quiet drink while watching the sunset after a busy day exploring the island or relaxing on the beach.
What you should know…
- While the villa makes a great base for those wishing to explore the island, hiring a car is essential to do so as the nearest amenities are a car journey away
- The pool isn't fenced so make sure you watch over the little ones while enjoying the outdoors area of the villa

Villa Irida is a 2-bedroom villa sleeping up to 4 guests, located just a short distance from Lefkada town. The accommodation is set over 3 levels. An additional 2 children can make use of the sofa beds in the living room.

Getting There
How to reach Lefkada island
You can easily reach Lefkas by car from mainland Greece, via the bridge connecting Lefkada with Aitoloakarnania. Lefkada island does not have an airport.

Best Suited For: All AgesThere is a small playground on site, shared with the other four villas in this small family-owned cluster of villas. The villas are set within pretty gardens with trees surrounding them.
Greek cuisine is all about sharing, ordering lots of mezes and letting your children try the local cuisine and find their favourites. Most tavernas and restaurants will have kid-friendly options such as pizza and pasta, omelettes, chips, bread, savoury pies and yoghurt.
The fast service in most restaurants is good news when it comes to feeding hungry little ones. Tavernas are family-friendly affairs, and the owners will generally be more than willing to cater to your children's tastes. Ingredients such as nuts and dairy find their way into lots of dishes, so if your children suffer from any severe allergies, it's best to ask someone to write this down for you clearly in plain Greek to show restaurant staff.
