Book Now & Grow Green: 3 Trees Planted with Every Booking!

This Earth Day, join our mission to plant 3 trees for every booking made between April 22nd - 28th, 2024. Let's make a sustainable impact together! Learn more about our journey here >>

Experience modern comfort in an 18th century castle at Chateau Levet, a luxury chateau in Aquitaine. Nestled in the hills of the Entre Deux Mers vineyards, the grounds include terraces perfect for relaxation and a large pool with roman steps. Swim under the trees, then play petanque outside or billiards in the games room.

The chateau’s contemporary and warm interior includes both antique and modern furniture. The six bedrooms, many en-suite, are spacious and offer splendid views of the green surroundings. You’ll find a flat-screen TV and a small library in the sitting room, and you have your choice of three dining areas: light and airy with garden views in the orangery, intimate and warm in the stone-walled dining room with fireplace or al fresco on the terrace.

This holiday chateau, just outside the picturesque village of Arbis, is a great setting for exploring the Gironde. With bike rental and an on-site concierge available, you can find the cycling tour perfect for you. Since you’re only 45 km from the centre of Bordeaux, you must try the local wines at the chateaux of Saint-Emilion or Sauternes, both a half-hour drive.

Chateau Levet is only 45 km from the Bordeaux airport.

Reviews

  • Way better than the photos

    on 16/08/2019

Absolutely fantastic. Far better than the photos show it even though the photos are brillant! Absolutely immaculate throughout like a 5 star hotel. Highly recommend.

  • Superb Long Weekend Experience!

    on 17/10/2017

We spent 5 days in September in Chateau Levet, we were 4 couples of friends. It is an exceptional castle very well located with all modern luxury. The building, garden and pool are fascinating and the interior has been recently decorated with design furniture by a very talented architect offering a modern and luxurius experience. A superior place for demanding guests. We recommend to use the available local catering options (dinners and breakfast) who cook excellent meals with respect of local ingredients and recipes. Plenty of wine chateau's to visit in the surroundings and the city of Bordeaux is worth discovering for a guided tour, dinner or cultural activity. We will definitely come back!

  • Elegance in a Stunning Environment

    on 12/06/2017

Looking for a relaxing holiday in a stunning environment? Chateau Levet offers it all. The panoramic view on the vineyards, the nicely decorated rooms, the orangerie full of daylight, the library to read at ease, the dinner room with huge fireplace, the kitchen were we let the local cook prepare breakfast and dinner (hmmmm..), the different lovely corners in the flowered garden,... Really, I can recommend this castle for a stay with family and friends. I can guarantee; you will come back as reborn.
And for those who look for some activities: we used the bikes to explore the surroundings , we made nice joggings and visited Bordeaux with a guide. We will certainly go back :-)

  • Hidden gem in the Bordeaux region

    on 30/05/2017

I had the pleasure to be spent many fantastic holidays at Chateau Levet. The beauty of the castle, the quietness of garden with lovely roses, the great pool...make every holiday just perfect. The stunning view will make you happy, every morning again. Situated near the greatest wineries, the beautiful villages like Saint-Emilion and the hospitality of all the wine domains in the neighbourhood make it worthwhile tot go back. The Chateau is beautifully decorated, the rooms are spacious and bright, the kitchen is equipped to cook a 5*diner and if you don't want to cook yourself, breakfast and diner can be made by a great cook in your own kitchen and will be served in the lovely orangerie. You will never forget a holiday with friends or family at Chateau Levet. And... you will keep coming back!

  • Great Place

    Created on 24/05/2017

We had the most amazing stay with some friends in Chateau Levet. I was delighted by the charm of this chateau. The exterior is traditional. There is a lovely garden with swimming pool. We have some good memories taking an appetizer in the evenings outside! The rooms were spacious and decorated with a superb taste. But most of all: it’s situated in the middle of vineyards; so great to do some cycling (bikes are available).
So we can certainly recommend this place!

  • Unique Bordeaux Location

    on 12/05/2017

What a most wonderful place to stay. We were with a group of great friends. Didn't know what to expect... but Chateau Levet was mind blowing !
The owner had been informing us correctly with all the necessary information we needed in advance.
We have enjoyed the beautiful decorated chateau from the beginning till the end. It is the proof of how a classical building can be reinvented by a good detonator. The kitchen, dining room, living-room and all the rooms with their bathrooms were beautiful. The dinner and the breakfast we ordered, were delicious. And the service was elegant and discrete. A true recommendation to go again!
