Welcome to Azurite, your luxurious home away from home in the lap of Jamaican luxury. As soon as you arrive you’re sure to be wowed by the impressive Georgian-style architecture. With a spacious front courtyard and driveway, bringing a car or two to the villa is safe and easy.
Within the villa you’ll find everything a family, or group of friends, need to enjoy a magical holiday on Jamaica’s beautiful northern coast. Throughout the property, traditional Caribbean décor meets modern luxury with a large open living space full of plus comfy furnishings and a Smart TV. Your main living room doubles as a games room with a fantastic selection of board and table-top games at your disposal.
A fully-equipped kitchen is yours to use at your leisure, however be aware that a stay at Azurite offers the services of a full service staff, including your own private cook who’ll help you plan and prepare meals for the duration of your stay.
Meals can be taken either indoors in the elegant dining room, away from the heat of the day, or outside on a covered terrace.
For sleeping, up to six spacious bedrooms, each decorated in its own unique way and featuring with a Smart TV, an en-suite bathroom and a terrace or balcony, are yours to choose from.
When the sun’s out, you can enjoy the best of both worlds when it comes to relaxation at Azurite. In your villa’s grounds, you can choose between lounging around the luxurious private swimming pool or head through the garden gate which leads directly onto the pristine white sands of Runaway Bay Beach.
With all that relaxation, there’s no need to worry about falling behind on your fitness routine as a brand-new state-of-the-art home gym has been built for your exclusive use. You have use of a BBQ with patio furniture, providing a third space for casual dining and relaxing. Your large veranda also boasts a fully-equipped bar, perfect for evening drinks while watching the sunset from the comfort of your own private hot tub.
What you should know…
- Runaway Bay is a quiet area so you’ll likely need to travel into larger areas like Ocho Rios or Montego Bay for activities.
- While the villa does offer direct beach access be aware that the beach is public and is visited by other holidaymakers and locals alike.
- Remember, it is customary to pay a 15% Gratuity fee before leaving your Villa in Jamaica
- Please note that you will need to select 12 guests should you wish to have access to all 6 bedrooms. Those selecting fewer guests will only have access to a prorated number of bedrooms based on 2 guests per room.

About the surrounding area of AzuriteAzurite sits in a highly sought after location, just an hour’s drive from Montego Bay Airport and sitting right on the stunning white sands of Runaway Bay Beach. While staying at Azurite you and your family will enjoy direct access to the beach, straight from the villa’s garden.
Right on Azurite’s doorstep is a picture-perfect white sand beach which stretches on for over a mile. This little slice of heaven is yours to enjoy a much as you like during your stay, with sun loungers and water sport equipment reserved for villa residents. When not sunbathing, you can play in the beautiful azure waters. Guests of the villa have use of two sea kayaks, two paddleboards and snorkelling equipment. Azurite is the perfect home away from home for snorkellers and marine lovers, with a pristine coral reef located just 50ft off the coast of your villa.
For exploring, the villa is ideally located right in the heart of Runaway Bay making it easy to access local amenities and social hotspots. In town you’ll be able to try new cuisine, drinks and explore local shops. More exploring can be done in nearby Salem, less than a five minute drive away to the East of Azurite.
Just half an hour to the east you’ll find the popular holiday resort of Ocho Rios where you can explore shops, bars, restaurants and beaches to your heart’s content. With its own cruise terminal, Ocho Rios is a popular destination from holidaymakers all over the world.

Prior to Booking
Please be aware that Jamaica is an island nation that experiences weather patterns dictated by the Atlantic Ocean to the north of the island and the Caribbean Sea to the south of the island. This tropical rainforest climate results in the island experiencing a hurricane season, which usually occurs between June to November. Entry Requirements
Tourists who are British Citizens will not require a visa upon arrival and Departure Tax is included in most flight costs. Please check Entry Requirements before departure.
Getting There
Jamaica has two international airports, Donald Sangster in Montego Bay and Norman Manley, Kingston.
From the US:
There are many direct flights with Jet Blue, Caribbean, Delta, American and United from cities including New York, Chicago, Miami, Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Houston and Philadelphia.
From the UK:
There are direct flights to Montego Bay from Gatwick and Manchester with American Airlines, British Airways or Virgin Atlantic. Glasgow and Belfast passengers can also fly via the US with United Airlines.

Best Suited For: All AgesKids of all ages will never go without when staying at Azurite. Inside the villa, you have your extensive library of books and games for kids to choose from. Pool and card tables are also available for them to use, perfect for lazy nights making memories.
Each communal room and bedroom is equipped with Smart TVs letting kids keep up with their favourite shows and streams, even when on holiday. Throughout the villa, high-speed internet is provided, letting kids keep in touch with friends back home or play games online.
On the beach, kids can play in the pristine sand and clear blue waters of the sea, or make use of the complimentary water sports equipment. Kayaks, paddleboards and snorkelling equipment is all yours to use throughout the duration of your stay. Little snorkellers are especially spoiled at Azurite with a beautiful reef located just 50ft away from the shoreline.
For day trips, there’s lots for kids to see and do nearby that are sure to keep them entertained during your stay. Less than ten minutes away by car is one of the area’s most iconic attractions; the Green Grotto Caves. This 1.5km network of underwater caves has repeatedly played a key role in Jamaica’s history; first as a hideaway for escaping Spaniards and secondly as a hideaway for escaped slaves.
In Ocho Rios, families can depart on a number of seafaring adventures like fishing trips and glass bottom boat rides.

Villa Staff included at this property:
A full-time dedicated chef, butler, housekeeper and personal laundress attend exclusively to your villa.
Your cook will handle grocery shopping and meal preparation. They will pre-purchase your first few meals plus pantry staples, then finish the week's shopping after meeting with you. At week's end, they will present receipts for all food and beverage and reconcile your account. A typical grocery budget is $55-$65 per adult per day and $20-25 per day for preteens. This may vary up or down depending on market prices and menus.(more luxurious items such as shrimp, lobster, imported meats and Champagne will incur a further charge).
Your cook will also pre-purchase a small starter bar (a few bottles of Red Stripe, moderately-priced wine and rum). Additional alcohol requests will increase your budget. If you wish to go to the various markets with them, you are welcome. Otherwise, simply review your tastes and distastes with them and they'll handle it all while you stay at the villa and relax.
A nanny can be arranged for an average of $12 per hour. Guests should plan to add approximately $20 per day for food for their nanny.

Villa Conditions
- Bedrooms will be allocated dependent upon ‘Number of Guests’ at the time of Booking. Any unused Bedroom(s) may not be available to Guests.
- A 50% deposit may be required for bookings that include Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Years Eve.
- A obligatory Gratuity rate of 15% of the overall booking is due to be paid to the Staff before departure. Please plan to pay in Cash (US Dollars or the local currency).

We highly recommend Azurite
We went to Jamaica to celebrate our mother’s 80th birthday with twelve family members. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by staff, who were attentive and helped us get acquainted with this gorgeous Villa. We absolutely LOVE this Villa. The owners have done an excellent job decorating it and making it feel like home. The layout of the house is good, one bedroom is downstairs and five are upstairs. All the bedrooms are spacious and uniquely designed with upgraded amenities. Three bedrooms face the ocean with a large shared balcony that also overlooks the pool. The grounds are very large and well maintained. We loved being just a few feet from the ocean!! The pool area is large and is surrounded by covered patios and a hot tub. The staff spoiled us with great food and excellent service. We worked with the cook to plan our daily meals and she didn’t disappoint us! Most of our meals were served on the outside terrace so we could enjoy the great weather. Be sure to try her Jerk Chicken & homemade key lime pie! Our butler was fabulous and made sure our requests were well taken care of. While the staff stayed on property they were not intrusive but always available when we needed them. I highly recommend Azurite and will definitely come back!

I can not say enough about Azurite. I took my 4 children and their significant others for Thanksgiving and we were blown away. The house is perfect (the pictures do not do it justice) and immaculately decorated. The attention to detail was fantastic. Each bedroom decorated differently and each was beautiful in its own way, but the backyard is where it was happening...AMAZING! From the pool, to the hot tub, to the lush lawn with hammocks to the private beach the backyard is literally a second living area within this gorgeous home. While the home is amazing, what sets Azurite apart is the staff who immediately made us feel at home and made an amazing vacation truly the vacation of a lifetime. Danny was there with drinks and snacks before we would even ask for them and Miss Rose's cooking was some of the most delicious food we have ever had. You can tell how much they care about the home and the guests and we left friends.
