Overview of Haven Lodge

What Oliver loves…

  • A peaceful oasis in the heart of Exeter, Haven Lodge is the only house on a quiet one way street just ten minutes walk from the city centre.
  • The interior design is incredibly stylish yet homely and comfortable.
  • This property is perfect for visiting the University, the city itself, or even making excursions to beautiful, rolling Devon countryside.

What you should know…

  • While the lodge is in a fabulous location, we recommend taking a car to fully explore the surrounding area

Sitting just outside the picturesque gardens of Exeter University, Haven lodge is a leafy island of peace and tranquility. Though undisturbed by the beats and raucous of student nightlife, the lodge is still a mere stroll away from the Exeter city centre and it's diverse collection of restaurants and bars. With a maximum capacity of  four, the lodge serves superbly as a romantic getaway for couples eager for a weekends privacy and stylish luxury.

The two double bedrooms are large and luxurious with enormous beds and pristine linen guaranteeing a snug and long sleep. The glamorous Moroccan style bathroom is also built out of epic proportions and includes a magnificent power shower and some delightful tiling.

Boasting a modern, airy Kitchen with all the utilities you could possibly need the house also has an ornate and cosy sitting room, equipped with high speed wi-fi, a large TV, a DVD player and a pretty fireplace.

The quaint patio also provides another communal area as well as the perfect spot for long hours of reading or reflection, and there's parking for up to three cars. In the summer it can also be used for Alfresco dining. If you do not have the heart to leave your canine pal at home, the property is also dog friendly, meaning a trip with the pooch can easily be arranged!

Interior & Grounds

Comfortably accommodating up to four people it has two sumptuous boutique style bedrooms. One room with a king-sized four poster and the second a double. The large bathroom has a contemporary Moroccan style and includes both a bath and shower.

The lounge includes a stylish fireplace, L-shaped  couch, high-speed WiFi and TV with BT Vision and DVD player.

The modern light and airy kitchen with separate outdoor utility area includes an oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, smoothie machine and other expected mod cons.

Hope Lodge has a private driveway with off road parking for up to three cars. It has a secluded patio and garden with tables and chairs for alfresco dining or just somewhere to relax with a paper.
