2. Try standup paddleboarding with Sup Boat Ibiza
Surfing’s fashionable sister sport, standup paddleboarding (SUP), has been gaining a steady following over the past decade or so. Like surfing, it involves a board, only with SUP, you stand on the board and use a paddle to propel yourself forward. Unlike surfing, you don’t have to wait for the right conditions; SUPers can have fun even with the smallest of waves. 3. Head to Formentera with a Mamboats charter
We’ve all seen pictures of celebrities cavorting on the deck of their boat in Ibiza’s waters. The good news is that floating fun isn’t just for the ludicrously wealthy. When you’ve got a big group in tow, it’s possible to organise a swanky day charter for a reasonable sum. Want to prove just how tough you are? This cliff-diving tour will separate the courageous from the cowardly. Over the course of several hours, an experienced instructor will school you in the art of flinging yourself off rocky cliff ledges in as safe a manner as possible. The brave can hurl themselves into the sea while the more risk-averse can simply watch on. After, when stomachs are adequately settled, the group will share a picnic on the rocks. Zoom along the scenic roads past forests and farmland, stopping in Santa Ines, a pretty little village hidden away among the tourist-free northern reaches of the island.
